The SSAIB is a non-profit-making organisation with the sole aim of protecting the users of security systems against unsafe or unsound installations. It achieves this by maintaining a nationwide roll of registered installers, who have been inspected and seen to comply with the relevant standards and have the necessary skills to install alarm systems professionally.

All SSAIB Approved Installers are expected to carry out their work to the highest possible standard, using only the best quality components, and are subject to regular six-monthly inspections.

Choosing a SSAIB installer to fit your alarm system is your guarantee that the work will be carried out as specified and in accordance with current European and British Standards, and SSAIB requirements.

As a SSAIB Approved Installer, DR Security & Electrical are required to carry comprehensive insurance cover to protect our clients. Like all other Approved Installers, we operate a 24-hour emergency call-out service, so that if a problem does arise with your system, an engineer is always at hand to rectify the fault.
